I'm Thankful For:

I am thankful for being home this holiday season.
I am thankful for my family being together and the reunions we are having.
I am thankful for our health.
I am thankful for every one of our kids and thier stages they are in.
I am thankful for my husband and the amazing man God is molding him to be!
I am thankful for my sister in law, who has amazing capacity for children and events. She blesses my socks off and there is no way I can repay her! Maybe one day!!
I am thankful for friends.
I am thankful that God has chosen us for such a time as this and that to serve Him is stretching and challenging. I am thankful for the promises He has given us that He will NEVER leave us or forsake us. We can rest assured that we belong to Him.
I am thankful for cool weather even though I cannot take it with me to the Amazon.
I am thankful for the people God is using to make our stay so amazing!
I thank you Jesus for always providing and taking care of our EVERY need! You are so faithful! I lift up your Name on High!

Blessings to you during this Christmas season. May the peace of the Lord abound in you and that you can take those moments out to just praise His name for all the wonderful things He is doing, will do and has done for you!
Peace and Joy,
Kelsie

Ms. Bergquist,

My name is Julia and I'm a junior Religious Studies student at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. As part of my senior honors thesis, I will be spending next June-Dec. researching the affect that Christian missions have on the communities they serve. I wondered if it would be possible for me to observe or to lend a hand with any of the work you do for a short period within that time in order to learn more.

Thanks,
Julia Schnell
