New Year Squeeze

Many of us are feeling the squeeze of time as it slips into 2009 and some of you may sense just the lack of control with the times. My family and I are feeling the squeeze as we spend our last few weeks in the USA.  Trying to meet with all our friends and family for the last time. Somehow we can't stop the feelings of sentiment. The moment comes when we have to step into the new season ready or not. We will be packing up our belongings and saying goodbye more this time than ever. Not only are we saying goodbye to family and friends here in the USA, but also when we go back to Brazil. We will be packing up our belonging in Porto de Moz and saying goodbyes to our missionary family(who we love very much) and to our friends there(who we have become such good friends with).
The love and friendships we have built these past few years are so precious and yet God is again taking us to a new place to do a new thing. We are anxious to serve Him and to meet new friends and make a new life once again. Many say we are "troopers" but really it is just the way we live.

I personally feel privileged to serve abroad with my family. As we head into these new times and this new season, we are facing the need to share more about what we are doing.
To raise awareness to those who want to partner with missions and sow into the Kingdom of God. This is a ripe time even as the economy is squashed, we need to remember that God is not! We are children of the Most High and He has provision for us even in famine!

So with the uncertainty of the economy, do not be dismayed. Let's raise our needs to the Lord. Be specific...He can handle it! Cause He already has it planned out. Rest in His love and know that He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it! AMEN!!!
Happy New Year to you and may your faith rise up and believe for more than you have ever imagined!
